Delivery & Returns

Our furniture is made from natural materials, using traditional assembly methods by our artisan partners in Europe and Asia.

This process guarantees the authenticity and quality of our products, but means that their production may take a little time.

Depending on the availability of our products, the delivery times shown on our product pages may vary :

- Delivery within 4 to 14 days > product in stock in our warehouse in New Jersey. The delivery time varies by delivery address. When the product is shipped, you can track your delivery via a tracking link.

- Temporarily out of stock > products that we are in manufacturing or on their way to the US! You can subscribe to be alerted when it is back in stock, and to receive an email when the product can be ordered via our website.

- The delivery time includes time taken for the preparation in our warehouse and last mile delivery to your delivery address. Please note that weather conditions or difficult access can sometimes cause a longer delivery time. Depending of the delivery state, transit times vary.

Shipping costs are calculated on the price of the item(s), the service you chose, and your postal code of your delivery address you mention in the check out. The estimated delivery costs on the product page and in the cart are estimated shipping costs for standard delivery. The costs are calculated before discounts or reductions are applied.

We do not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

For all Bulky items, the transporter will deliver your product on appointment, within 4 to 10 business days, from the email announcing the departure of your parcel from our warehouse in New Jersey. This email contains a tracking link so you can follow your order.

All type of deliveries operates from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday within a four-hour delivery window. The transporter will contact you within one business day of arrival at destination for delivery appointment
For all delivery types:

For Bulky items, the transporter will deliver your product on appointment, within 4 to 8 days, from departure of our warehouse. The transporter will contact you within one business day of arrival at destination for delivery appointment. Parcels are delivered without appointment, but a Picture proof of delivery.

Upon shipping, an email announcing the departure of your item(s) from our warehouse in New Jersey will be sent. This email contains a tracking link so you can follow your order.

Delivery operates from Monday to Friday on business days from 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday within a four hour delivery window.

Our furniture is delivered assembled. Please make sure that packaged item(s) fit through main entrance door and stairs, etc., while in packaging. Please protect your flooring and surroundings from potential damages prior to the delivery. The delivery partners are not responsible for any flooring or surrounding damages.

We will not move existing furniture present in your home.

Standard Delivery

Delivery just inside the main entrance (threshold) only.  Deliveries that require using a lift or stairs will be left at the entrance of the lift or foot of the stairs. Delivery is made by two people for any shipment that cannot be safely handled by one person only.

This service does not include unpacking, packaging removal or light assembly.

Room of choice

Delivery to the room of your choice. Delivery by two people for any shipment that cannot be safely handled by one person only.

Deluxe

Inside delivery to the room of your choice, along with unpacking and packaging removal.

Delivery by two people for any shipment that cannot be safely handled by one person only.

Our furniture is delivered assembled. Please make sure that packaged item(s) fit through main entrance door while in packaging. Don’t forget to measure your rooms, door frames, stairwells, and any other access points to your home, before ordering.

This service does not include light assembly.

White Glove

Inside delivery to the room of your choice. Unpacking and packaging removal for delivery, along with light assembly using the tools supplied by Tikamoon in each packaging. Delivery by two people for any shipment that cannot be safely handled by one person only.

Our furniture is delivered assembled. Please make sure that packaged item(s) fit through main entrance door while in packaging. Don’t forget to measure your rooms, door frames, stairwells, and any other access points to your home, before ordering.

You will receive an email notification when your order has left our warehouse in New Jersey. For the tracking of your delivery, you will be provided with the tracking information in the shipping email. For Bulky items, you will be contacted directly by the carrier to confirm a delivery date within a timeslot (4 hours). Delivery operates from Monday through Friday on business days from 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

You can cancel your order 24h free of charge after your order because the item hasn’t left the warehouse yet.

After 24 hours your order is already on its way and you cannot cancel your delivery after that time without charges. An order cancellation of an in-transit & Return process will be charged at $75.00 minimum.

Normal delivery service parameters are Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Special delivery service is defined as an expedited delivery performed prior to the time that normal delivery would be made in the course of the regularly scheduled route, or delivery performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM, or Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays.

If you would like to know how much this service will be charged, please contact our customer service to get a rate of extra costs.

Any last-minute changes for scheduled delivery dates must be requested 3 business days prior to your confirmed delivery. Any last-minute requests after said timeframe will be subject to a re-delivery fee of $100 as well as any applicable taxes.

Our delivery partner may require a photo ID before unloading the products. If verification requests are not complied with, it will be considered a refusal of delivery, and the item(s) will be returned to the warehouse. If you choose to reschedule, a secondary delivery, fees will be applied. If not, 20% restocking fees will be applied. Upon delivery, you or an appointed representative must inspect the item(s) carefully before our delivery partner leaves the premises. Any damaged or defective items must be reported to Tikamoon within 14 days of delivery and noted on the proof of delivery document. Please contact us and provide photos showing the damage or fault via mail to help@tikamoon.com. Tikamoon reserves the right in its absolute discretion to determine whether a product or a component of a product has failed due to a defect or wear and tear. Replacement or repair is offered solely at Tikamoon’s discretion. If an exchange for the defective piece cannot be arranged, Tikamoon reserves the right to offer a substitute or full refund. All repairs or replacements of item(s) will depend on inventory availability. Tikamoon is not be liable for any consequences (whether direct or indirect) of the delay in the delivery of the goods and such delays do not entitle the customer to treat this agreement as repudiated by Tikamoon or seek comparison.

A POD is not just a receipt of delivery, but an acknowledgment that the goods arrived intact. Often, PODs are signed without inspecting the delivery. Until inspection, keep all packaging material. We advise you to confirm that the shipment is intended for you, that the entire order has been delivered, and that it was delivered undamaged. Any issues not noted on the POD before signing will prevent Tikamoon from authorizing damage claims after the driver has left. Please follow this checklist to follow before the Point of Delivery (POD) is signed:

- Check all cartons for visible damage. If there is one, please report it to the delivery driver

- Take photos of any damage to the items and cartons

- Confirm you have received the correct items as per the POD and the delivery order

- For White Glove delivery: Please wait until all items have been assembled and there is no visible damage to the items before signing the POD.

- Please indicate any property damage caused by delivery on the POD. We will need photographs and video footage of the damage occurring to document the damage.

After inspecting your entire shipment and documenting any issues, you may obtain the driver’s signature or initials next to your notes about the damaged items on the POD.

Yes, our furniture is delivered already assembled. We do not offer kit furniture. Only the legs or handles may require action on your part to prevent them from being damaged during transport. You can chose our White Glove Delivery service for this. Product and box dimensions are listed on each product page. We recommend measuring your space and the entry hall including the stairs ahead of time to see if a product is the right fit and can be easily moved into the intended room. Generally speaking, the door width should be greater than the box’s height. Some other factors to keep in mind are:

` Obstructions behind the door.

` Tight Corners

` Hallways or internal doors

` Stairways [including the length]

` Elevator measurements

If a delivery is not possible due to obstruction, the return and the delivery costs will be charged to the customer.

At Tikamoon, we offer a 60-day right to return. If you wish to return your order (partial), please inform us in writing. To do so, please send an email, if possible, with the reason for the return, to: help@tikamoon.com.

If you choose this option, we will initiate the procedure with our transporter or parcel delivery service. This procedure may take a few working days. The product to be returned should be in its original packaging. After having received the return, you will be refunded with the subtotal of your order without the shipping fees, minus additional 20% restocking fees of the product value.

If you do not have the original packaging anymore, $75.00 of repacking fees will be charged.
