Rich in tannin, it is slow growing, making it dense, heavy, and exceptionally strong. Naturally resistant to water and external damage, it's still advisable to protect oak with oil or varnish when it's used in environments like bathrooms or shower rooms. All our oak pieces are already pre-treated with oil or varnish - ready for you to take home and enjoy.

The vast majority of Tikamoon's solid oak furniture is made from Grade A wood, the highest quality distinction: The very heart of the tree is crafted, ensuring a uniform color, utmost strength, and a long-lasting piece of furniture if it is properly maintained.
