What is our furniture made of?

Our furniture is crafted from solid wood, retaining the nobility of the tree with minimal processing. As a natural product, slight color nuances or size deviations may occur. Small irregularities are an expression of the authenticity of each product. At Tikamooon, every product is unique because it is hand-made by real craftsmen.

Do you offer custom-made furniture?

We do not offer custom-made furniture, and our pieces are not customizable. They are only available in the sizes, finishes, and configurations shown on our website.

Are your bathroom furniture pieces pre-drilled?

No, our bathroom furniture (sold separately from the sink) is not pre-drilled. This allows you to position the faucets and sink according to your specific needs and the layout of your bathroom.

What bathroom accessories are sold with your bathroom furniture?

We do not supply bathroom accessories such as faucets, drains, or siphons.Our furniture and sinks meet European standards. Accessories can be purchased at specialized or DIY stores. If you need any advice, please contact our customer service.Please note that all vanity units should be installed by a professional.

What is the actual color of the product?

Here are some tips to help ensure the color of your furniture matches your expectations:

If you want several pieces of furniture to match in the same room, choose items from the same collection. The color and finish will be very similar, though natural variations in the wood may occur.

You can also mix furniture made from the same type of wood, but please remember that each piece is handcrafted. Each piece is unique, so there may be slight variations in color between two pieces of furniture of the same type of wood. This is an integral part of the charm of solid wood furniture.

What packaging will my product arrive in?

Most of our products are packaged in reinforced cardboard boxes for protection during transport. Fragile items, like sinks or products with stone or terrazzo tops, are delivered in wooden crates. If you'd like the delivery person to remove the packaging and take it back with them, we recommend choosing Deluxe delivery.

How does the installation work?

For your bathroom vanities, we offer an installation guide here.

All Installation for vanity units should be carried out by a professional. Hanging furniture and wall installations should also be carried out by a professional as wall conditions may vary. For this reason, we do not provide dowels for wall installations.

Can I see the products before purchasing?

We do not have any stores or showrooms in the United States where you can see our products in person. However, our Customer Service team is always available to assist you with any questions or advice you may need. Contact us at help@tikamoon.com.

Is there a Tikamoon catalog?

Product care/installation

How do I take care of my furniture?

The maintenance of wooden furniture depends on the type of wood and its finish. For a detailed maintenance guide tailored to each material, visit our Material and maintenance page.

Does my unprotected teak furniture need to be protected?

Yes. Teak furniture should be protected for improved longevity. Stains from water can only be removed by sanding, so take care especially in bathrooms. We strongly recommend that you protect the surfaces of frequently exposed furniture, such as bathroom surfaces. If left unprotected indoors, teak will naturally patinate to a golden-brown color over time. Our care tips are available on each product page, as well as on our dedicated care guide

What type of varnish/oil do you use for finished furniture?

All our oils and varnishes are water-based products. We recommend maintenance once a year. For more information, please visit ourMaterials and Care page.

Are there any precautions to take while handling and moving the furniture to prevent damage?

Taking certain precautions while handling and moving furniture can help prevent damage. Here are some tips:

- Bend your knees to lift the furniture and use your leg muscles for support.
- Use bubble wrap or plastic sheets to wrap your furniture, for extra protection against possible scratches or scuffs.
- AVOID dragging furniture. Instead, lift it off the ground to prevent damage.
- While moving furniture be cautious of walls and floors. Covering walls with moving blankets and using corrugated cardboard on the floor can provide extra protection.

If you're moving heavy furniture, consider getting help. Even experienced movers should take precautions to prevent strain or damage.

Are the products tip-over risk-free?

To help ensure your safety, we include a restraint bracket and installation instructions with your order if the product is higher than 23.5 inches as a standard. If your order is missing one or if you misplaced the bracket, please contact us immediately.When it comes to storage units, balance is key. To reduce the risk of tipping, we recommend opening no more than one drawer at a time. We also strongly recommend storing the heaviest items in the lowest drawers to ground the piece, and keeping lighter items in the top drawers. I received my order, but the product is damaged. What should I do?

While we take great care in inspecting both our products and packaging, we understand that issues can sometimes arise. Our customer service team is here to help you resolve any concerns.

For a quick resolution, please email us at help@tikamoon.com with photos of the damage and a quick description of the issue (close-up photos and a full view of the product, or a short video if the issue isn't visible in pictures).

We will be respond as soon as possible. In the meantime, please keep the packaging in case a return is necessary. We recommend checking your furniture upon receipt, even if you're not planning to use it immediately.

How do I track my order?

To track your order, simply click on the link included in your shipping confirmation email.

When your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link. If your order includes several small packages, you'll receive multiple links (1 package = 1 link).

How do I modify or cancel my order?

You can cancel your order at any time, a cancellation fee of at least $75.00 will apply.

For any changes or cancellation requests, please send an email tohelp@tikamoon.comas soon as possible.

If the order couldn't be intercepted, the refund will be delayed (a return confirmation from the carrier is required for the refund).

How do I view and edit my invoice?

Your invoice will be available as soon as your order is shipped. We send the invoice by mail upon request.

Please note that we cannot edit invoices once your order has been processed.

How can I update my personal information?

Go to the My account section and click on "My personal information". From there, you can then modify the pre-filled fields. Remember to save your changes by clicking "Validate" at the bottom of the page.

How are the delivery times calculated?

Our furniture is crafted from natural materials and assembled using traditional methods by our artisan partners in Europe and Asia. This process guarantees the authenticity and quality of our products but means that their production may take a little time.

Delivery times on our product pages depend on availabilty:

- Delivery within 5 to 9 business days> product in stock in our warehouse in New Jersey. Delivery time may vary depending on your location. When the product is shipped, you can track your delivery via a tracking link you will receive upon shipment by email.

- Temporarily out of stock> these items are either in production or on their way to the US. You can subscribe for notifications and receive an email once the product becomes available for purchase on our website.

The delivery time includes warehouse processing and last-mile delivery to your address. Please note that factors such as weather conditions or difficult access can sometimes cause a longer delivery time. Transit time vary depending on your delivery state.

How are shipping fees calculated?

Shipping costs depend on the type of delivery chosen [Standard, Comfort or Deluxe] and the total amount of your cart. You can view the exact shipping cost by entering your Zip Code during check-out. For more detailed information, please refer to our delivery and returns page here.

What are the different delivery options?

We offer different service levels for delivery. All delivery options and details about the delivery process can be found on the Delivery and Returns pageof our website.

Can I ship items to multiple addresses?

Unfortunately, we can only ship items to one address per order. If you wish to ship items to different addresses, please place separate orders for each shipment.

Do your deliver on weekends?

Our standard delivery service operates Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. If you are not available to receive the delivery during this time, please contact our customer service before shipping. They will schedule another delivery slot; surcharges will be charged to the customer.

What happens if I am absent during delivery?

Our standard delivery service operates Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Parcels are usually delivered without appointment, with a picture proof of the delivery. You do not need to be at home for delivery of smaller items.

However, for larger items, delivery is upon appointment. If you need to change the delivery date, please notify us at least 3 business days in advance. Any changes made after this period will incur a re-delivery fee of $100, plus any applicable taxes.

Is the furniture delivered already assembled? How big is a carton?

Yes, our furniture arrives fully assembled. We do not offer kit furniture. Only the legs or handles may require minor assembly on your part to prevent them from being damaged during transport.

Product and carton dimensions are listed on each product page. We recommend measuring your space and the entryways including any stairs ahead of time to see if a product is the right fit and can be easily moved into the intended room. Typically, the door width should be greater than the box's height.

Some other factors to keep in mind are:
- Obstructions behind the door
- Tight Corners
- Hallways or internal doors
- Stairways [including the length]
- Elevator measurements

If delivery is not possible due to obstructions, the return and delivery costs will be charged to the customer.

My apartment is hard to access — what can I do?

The dimensions of the products and packaging are listed on each product page. We recommend measuring your space and access points, including stairways, before delivery to ensure the product fits and can be easily installed in the desired room.

Hoisting or window deliveries are not available.

When I submit credit card information online, is it secure?

Tikamoon works with a trusted payment partner that employs advanced encryption and authentication tools to ensure the security of your credit card information. Our partner uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, which makes your information unreadable to unauthorized parties who might try to intercept it. While we take steps to secure your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute safety. Therefore, any information transmitted through our website is done so at your own risk. To ensure that others do not have access to your credit card information while you are shopping with us, we recommend logging out of your account and closing your browser window when you have finished your visit, especially if you are using a shared or public computer.

What is the product warranty?

Our furniture is designed in France to last. Not only because we take pride in our work, but also to limit the impact on our planet. We use solid wood and traditional assembly methods, ensuring robustness, longevity, and high repairability. This allows us to offer a free 2-year warranty on all our furniture, though we hope it will serve you many years to come.

What is the guarantee on the products?

Solid wood is highly durable and can be easily repaired, extending the life of the product. Our guarantee includes free replacement of spare parts if needed, a potential price reduction or, depending on the condition of the product, a refund or replacement. The specific solution will be determined based on the photos you provide.

Are returns free?

No, a 20% restocking fee (based on the price of the item) applies to returns. If you change your mind, simply contact us within 60 days, and we'll arrange for the furniture to be picked up. Please keep the original packaging until you're sure about your decision. If not, extra charges may be applied.

I would like to return my order. What should I do?

Tikamoon offers returns within 60 days. For the detailed return process, please contact our customer service team at help@tikamoon.com or through our contact form.

I want to return my item but no longer have the packaging — what should I do?

To return an item, it must be packaged securely to ensure it can be transported without damage.

If you no longer have the original packaging, you can use bubble wrap, cardboard, or any suitable materials. Unpackaged items will not be accepted by the carrier.

Exception: if you booked an additional packing service with us.

What should I do with the packaging?

If you're happy with your product, you can recycle or dispose of the packaging.

However, if you're considering a return, it's important to keep the original packaging. In case of a return, the product must be carefully repackaged by you.

For Premium delivery, make sure the item meets your expectations before the delivery team takes the packaging away.
