Good morning, Thank you very much for your comment. The two pieces of furniture are protected with a natural oil. You just have to keep in mind to remove the dust with a soft or slightly damp cloth, avoid direct exposure to the sun and heat sources, changes in temperature and humidity that is too low can cause deformation or cracks. You are advised not to place any wet or hot containers on protected furniture as they may leave marks that are difficult to remove. This large oak sideboard met all my expectations and I am delighted with the quality of the product. It arrived within the 10 day time frame and good contact was had with the two man delivery company. They answered the phone promptly and sorted my queries. Although the outer packaging was damaged, the sideboard was very well wrapped and protected inside. I was so pleased that I’ve now ordered two more bits of furniture. This time they are with a different delivery company and their tracking is not as good and are difficult to communicate with. All is within the time frame so will just have to wait to see if they deliver on time. On my first experience of the sideboard I would strongly recommend.
