Description
The Edgar 48" teak and lava stone bathroom vanity is an artful combination of solid teak's pale color and timeless style with the understated minimalist design of a modern lava stone countertop. Designed so it can be used by two at the same time, there's no need to rush in the morning. With the large top drawer, at a glance you'll see everything stored inside. While the two lower drawers are roomy enough, for towels and bottles.
Our Edgar furniture is made with solid wood that's certified. In other words, sourced from sustainably managed forests. It's treated with oil for day-to-day protection, which makes it easy-care.

Use oil or varnish to protect, maintain, and preserve your raw wood furniture. If the piece of furniture is not adequately protected, any stains that occur can only be removed by sanding the furniture.
To protect, maintain, and preserve your marble, lava stone, or polished stone furniture on a daily basis, wipe it with a non-abrasive sponge. We suggest that you use a special marble-cleaning solution once a month, and a renovator for occasional special maintenance.

The piece of furniture is very beautiful, as in the photo. The teak has a natural scent, wonderful. So in the end I will keep it for the design that I immediately loved. Too bad though... I expected a much larger drawer capacity in relation to the cost of the piece of furniture. In reality the two drawers are small compared to average bathroom furniture. The lower drawer is narrow and can barely accommodate, due to its very small thickness, a hair straightener and a few brushes. Disappointed about this.

COMPLIANT AND QUALITY
Very beautiful teak wood and pretty finishes. Not yet installed but the furniture is very beautiful.
We ordered a splendid vanity unit in teak and lava stone. The teak is very nice, but unfortunately 2 broken drawers at the screwing location. Impossible not to see it during assembly, too bad to pack and send such a beautiful piece of furniture with such obvious defects... The lava stone, on the other hand, is magnificent and immaculate. We tinkered with the drawers, didn't want to send this piece of furniture back (not far from 90 kg anyway). Hence my 4 stars and not 5. Splendid materials, but it is clear that the assembly was sloppy or poorly managed and that all the care required for this type of product was not taken during assembly and gluing / screwing... What a pity, we have a 2nd bathroom to furnish, so I hesitate, when we were ready to make a second order...

Nice product but difficult to maintain the basin and avoid limestone

In reality it looks even more beautiful than in the pictures. The stone is very dark, almost black. I really like that. The teak is very dense, but light and smells nice. A drawer had to be adjusted because it didn't close flush. The processing takes place almost with my screw but by technicians of the woodworking art. The stone is slightly open-pored. I am curious how the care will be over the years. Wood is untreated and prone to water stains.

drawers work very badly !!! What do you do about it? If I have to bring in a professional to settle them, I will send you the invoice ....
