This Jill certified solid teak bathroom unit is characterized by its natural style and sleek lines. The large unit can accommodate two countertop sinks (See all our freestanding sinks). It was necessary to reinforce the attachments of the feet
Sold as bathroom furniture but not water resistant, even after treating with a special product (3 coats). After only 1 week of use, water stains remain impossible to remove. We are very disappointed with this product.

Wood is a noble material, which remains sensitive despite the protection provided. We recommend using Syntilor brand varnish or oil to protect your raw teak furniture, and wiping off any stagnant product so that it does not stain your furniture irreversibly. Very nice product and good quality of the furniture. However, one of the legs was missing a square and one of the doors did not hold because the inner hinge was bent.

The piece of furniture split in two when we unpacked it, probably because it had not dried during manufacture. Delivery within the deadline, which is appreciated since most companies do not comply. Exceptional product packaging and product in perfect condition. I do not give it the highest score due to the scant information there is about the conservation of teak, since the product comes totally natural and requires varnishing to start using it.

We confirm that oil being a fatty substance, even colorless, it will tend to revive the color of the wood, like a wet effect. However , the fatty substance soaks into the fibers in depth, and even after sanding, it is no longer possible to apply another protection. We invite you to refer to our advice indicated in our email of April 23, only Oils were recommended, as varnish is not compatible with oil. The links to the oils mentioned are indicated there. Quality OK - part of the back came off on delivery (seeing the other comments I see this is a common problem) so we had to glue it back on before installing it and secondly we hadn't seen clearly that the item had to be treated before putting it in the bathroom. Honestly, I don't see the point in selling an item intended for the bathroom that is not treated with a base oil or varnish? That does not make sense. Otherwise, the article is compliant.
