Hello, The only downside is that when you order online, you don't realize the color of the wood. Since, I have walnut furniture and the table was walnut, I thought it would be the same shade when it is gray. For the holidays I waxed it to bring it closer to my other furniture but I think I will have to sand it lightly and apply a color varnish to my furniture. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.
The table is damn beautiful, I fell in love as soon as I saw it, hence I made the effort to buy it since for me it is a lot of money. But that excess has been more than rewarded. Beyond how useful, which is very useful, is the added value of design. I may look like an idiot, but I am amazed at how pretty she is. As for the materials, as another point in favor, in the era of furniture by parts with pompous facades to hide mediocre materials, such a piece is appreciated. Robust, really, and not fake. The legs are made of steel and when they come into contact with the floor, they scratch the legs because the protection they have is a simple small rubber adhesive that quickly moves and becomes exposed. It could be greatly improved, perhaps with a plastic or other material coupling.
